1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the booking and purchase of lessons, courses, workshops and educational services provided by Learn English with Samantha, operated by Samantha Riley, an individual entrepreneur registered in France.

They explain the rights and responsibilities of both the customer and Learn English with Samantha.

Customers must be given the opportunity to read and accept these Terms and Conditions before completing a purchase or booking.

These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside our Refund and Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these conditions limits the customer's statutory rights under French consumer law.

 

2. Services Offered

 

Learn English with Samantha provides English language learning services including but not limited to one-to-one lessons, group sessions, workshops, online courses, educational materials, and communication via email, messaging platforms, or video conferencing tools.

All services are designed to support language development in a supportive and professional environment. Results may vary depending on the learner’s engagement, attendance, and personal effort.

 

3. Bookings and Payments

All lessons, courses and workshops must be booked in advance.

Individual lessons must be paid for no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Lesson packages must be paid for in full before the first lesson.

If payment is not received by the required deadline, Learn English with Samantha reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Prices are displayed on the website or communicated directly to customers before booking. Prices may be updated at any time, but changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings.

All prices are stated in euros. TVA non applicable, article 293 B du Code général des impôts.

 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Individual lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

Late cancellations, missed sessions and exceptional circumstances are handled according to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

 

5. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

​

Refunds, prepaid lesson packages and cancellation arrangements are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Customers retain their statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible distance contracts, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

 

6. Learner Responsibilities

 

Learners are expected to attend sessions on time, participate respectfully, and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

Inappropriate behaviour, repeated disruption or misuse of services may result in the suspension or termination of lessons.

Where services are terminated, any refund entitlement will be assessed according to the circumstances, our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and applicable consumer law.

 

7. Intellectual Property

 

All teaching materials, worksheets, videos, course content, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Learn English with Samantha.

These materials are for personal educational use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, or resold without prior written permission.

 

8. Technology and Online Access

 

Learners are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and appropriate devices for online sessions.

Learn English with Samantha is not responsible for disruptions caused by technical issues beyond reasonable control.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

While every effort is made to provide high-quality teaching and support, Learn English with Samantha cannot guarantee specific language outcomes or examination results.

Participation in services is at the learner’s own responsibility.

10. Privacy and Data

​

Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information necessary to manage bookings, process payments, communicate with learners and deliver educational services is processed for the performance of our contractual obligations and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

Where consent is legally required, such as for certain marketing communications, it will be requested separately.

11. Changes to Terms

 

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. The most current version will always be available on the website.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
